- Jeans are totally acceptable.
- T Shirts are completely fine
- Shorts are no problem
- Dresses are wonderful
- Tank tops are fine
- Sweaters are perfectly acceptable
- Button down shirts are great
- Sandals are great
- Sneakers are welcome
- Loafers are cute and fun
- Heels… might be questionable depending on if you will be doing tours. If the tour includes a catwalk in the cellar… they tend to eat heels. The heel slips through the holes and best case scenario the heel covering gets cut, the worst case I have seen is a heel breaking. Be mindful of the potential tours you might take.
- The bottom line is… most wine regions in the US are comfortable vacation wear. If you like to dress up a little then do it, if not… you do not have to. Wear weather appropriate clothes that you feel good in.
- The one thing I recommend against… is wearing white. Don’t wear white tops, or bottoms. Wine spills happen and they ALWAYS seem to happen to people wearing white. Please avoid white unless you do not care about walking around with wine drips, or full on spills on you.
